SOUS CHEF
Summary
As a bartender, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and crafting delicious beverages for our guests. With your expertise and passion for mixology, you will ensure that every drink is prepared to perfection, creating a memorable experience for our customers. Duties & Responsibilities
• Prepare and serve a wide variety of drinks, including cocktails, mocktails, and specialty beverages.
• Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
• Take customer orders and ensure accuracy and timeliness of service.
• Build a rapport with regular customers to create a positive atmosphere
• Engage with customers to provide menu recommendations and suggest personalized drink options.
• Make suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences
• Open and maintain tabs throughout their shift
• Process payments
• Clean glasses and bar utensils
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including restocking supplies and cleaning glasses.
• Adhere to all safety and health regulations, including responsible alcohol service.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure that the restaurant closing duties are completed at the end of service.
Requirements
• Proven experience as a bartender in a high-volume establishment.
• In-depth knowledge of mixology techniques for traditional and creative cocktails
• Understanding of unique and complimentary flavor pairings
• Impeccable customer service and social perceptiveness
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work in a team
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects (e.g., cases of drinks).
• Accountability in maintaining inventory and processing payments
• Physical ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
